The Bar code rebellion

62-95
Kayla and her new friends are trying to find out why the government wants Kayla so bad. They have shown her on tv with the bar code tattoo even though Kayla does not have a tattoo. She is also trying to figure out what to do about her boyfriend getting the tattoo againest his will. He most likely will get it burned off of his arm. This book is very good even though I need to read it  faster because, I really haven't read in quite a while!

Thirteen reasons why 130 -159

Clay is coming closer and closer to finding out if he is a cause of Hannah death. As he thinks he decides that he possibly could have prevented her death. He believe all he had to do was tell her that he liked her ad show her that people really did care about her regardless of what she thought. Each story Clay hears is sadder then the one before and it becomes even more difficult to listen to Hannah's voice. I am almost done reading this book and I plan to be taking an AR test of it in the near future. : )

The Bar Code Rebellion

  Pages 5-62
In this Novel Kayla and her friends are refusing to get the bar code tattoo. It is the law to recieve the tattoo however, the tattoo has the ability to read your genetic code. This allows the government to treat you differently according to your genetic history. For some reason the government want Kayla and she has no idea why. This novel is very well written and interesting. I would advise other teens to read it.
